Support for Doctors

Are you a hard-working country doctor who needs locum cover so you can take a break? Or are you an Overseas Trained Doctor who needs help to gain your Australian Fellowship? Maybe you're an Australian Trained Doctor looking for a rural or remote career opportunity?

Whatever the case, the Rural Workforce Agency Network is here to help you.

Rural Workforce Agencies offer support and retention services for new and existing rural doctors.

This includes locum services, professional development workshops, family networking activities and assistance for Overseas Trained Doctors seeking Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).

In addition to this, the agencies match doctors to communities for short-term or long-term placements. Plus they can help you access Federal and State Government incentives for rural work.
