Will rural communities see more doctors as medical student numbers grow? 13/1/09
Research from RHWA shows that the increase in medical student numbers will not necessarily translate into more doctors in the bush. Domestic graduates have shown a reluctance to practise in the bush and one of the main reasons why rural health servcies are not in crisis is because International Medical Graduates have to work in areas where there are workforce shortages.
