Go Rural - South Australia

Medical students got in the groove for Go Rural in South Australia recently. More than 60 graduating students of Flinders University's Graduate Entry Medical Program attended the RDWA "Do it all...Go Rural" cocktail evening on 12 December at the Ambar Lounge in Adelaide.

Rural Doctors Workforce Agency (RDWA) CEO Lyn Poole and Health Workforce Australia's Claire Austin spoke to students, in celebration of their achievements and to consider for their years ahead, a highly valued and specialised career in rural medicine.

Hosted by RDWA, South Australia's not-for-profit Rural Workforce Agency, this event was one of many that made up Grad Week 2012, where RDWA staff attended a number of professional events spreading the Go Rural message.

Emma Ramsey and Emily Cooper were among more than 60 graduating students who attended the Rural Go Rural function at the Ambar Lounge.
Also enjoying the Go Rural vibe were Matt Carmichael, Sameer Thakur and Jackson Harvey.
